You dis-remembered it, Mystvan. While "native" run of games (including compatibility - actually, compatibility itself often is the source of the problem) can resize all windows to current resolution (i.e.320 or 640x480), DOSBox is "sandbox" program. Everything run from it is separated from "main" windows, so it not break resolution for everyone else.
