For games this old, I wouldn't recommend it. Take graphics: for new games, you can measure it up compared to other games in its genre. With 15 year old games ... how will you measure it? Compared to other 15 year old games? Or do you judge the art style by itself? Or do you rate it according to how well the graphics have aged?
I think a score out of 10 with half points is a nice compromise. I was never a fan of the 5 star system myself because a 20% jump between ratings is pretty crazy.
