AFAIK, you can also log out from AB Forums.
I also noticed that when you log in via the site, the cookie is active for longer than login from the AB Forums (at most a few hours).
And when you log in from the AB Forums, any changes you’ve made to your location (whereabouts) remain as long as you no longer sign in from the site. Otherwise, your location will be the same (reset) as it appears on your
profile on the site. Ugh, I guess it is only for
old members (age and whereabouts)...
