Might need a faster CPU, or more RAM. When I had a 1.3 gHz CPU and 256 MB RAM, it used to take noticeable time to load segments. Now I've got a 3 gHz CPU and 1 GB RAM, and it's as smooth as Charisma Carpenter's behind.
