Checking myself: yes, it's European (hero turtle) version.
Checked against USA version: they are mostly identical, surprisingly. Only found major difference is replacing "Ninja" with "Hero" in files... and slightly different L3-06 file pair in DATA subdir. I suppose, this is named glitchy level.
So, basically, US version can be easily fixed by replacement this two files. If anyone wants it.
