Hi Scatty.
I understand what you mean, because I thought of you as collector. I would have agreed with you in the past, but I have changed my concepts. The advantages of owning digital games would be:
• Optimization of physical space;
• Storing in the cloud of your collection;
• Digital documents are easier because they allow search;
• Old-fashioned protection has disappeared;
• Discs and manuals do not deteriorate over time;
• There are extras such as Wallpapers, OST, Artbooks, Artworks, etc.
This is only my opinion and without the intention of offending you or anyone else.
