Yes that's right, Shadow Warrior doesn't have any in-game MIDI music unlike Duke Nukem 3D (Shadow Warrior is a clone of Duke). It plays any music CD fine though, but it isn't enough to just put in the music CD into the drive, you need also to mount that drive in DosBox for it to be recognized, like (assuming your CD-drive has a letter D):
mount d d:\ -t cdrom
That should fix the problem.
