Oh man, I am of the total opposite opinion. I was so excited for that game, I even preordered the special edition that came with a pewter figurine of a NOD soldier, it was $60. Needless to say, I felt like I got burned. I tried to like it, but I couldn't play it past the first 5 missions, I HATED it. To me, it was one of my worst gaming purchase decisions of my life.
That just goes to show how much people's opinions on games can vary. You loved a game I hated. I did like the FMV sequences though, very well made. High production values.
