I don't think it was a very highly rated game, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was hardly more than a footnote left of it in history.
Btw, the game was in the first-person perspective, so definitely not Universe. The visual style of Reah seems similar to what I remember, but the story is definitely something else.

The portals were the highlight of it though.
