this file and unrar it in your windows\system32 folder. That fixes the problem.
See, the problem is actually that the AUTOEXEC.NT went missing for some reason. You need that file to start DOS and Win95/98 applications.
The archive also contains CONFIG.NT, since that's the second DOS config file, which also seems to have the nasty habit of disappearing.
