An idea that I've had floating around in my head for a while that nobody seems to want to bring to life is that of an RPG with a more modern feel. Why do RPGs have to be swords and magic and dragons? Why not a game set in the 19th century - a western? Or even a 20th century RPG? Would it be against some sort of RPG law to include guns instead of swords and magic? I think a western themed RPG with horses, guns, cowboys and bandits would be a fantastic idea. The upcoming
Frontier 1859 looks like it might fulfill these needs, but probably won't be the sort of thing I'm thinking of, in the end.
