A crash as in "Firefox quits". At the beginning, the Mozilla Crash Reporter (you can google for screenshots etc.) popped up, giving the options to quit or restart. By now, the FF process just quits without a notice. And as bad as a website can be programmed, a browser doesn't has to quit because of it - why do we have response time limitations and error handling? As much as I hate IE, it never crashed in the few years I used it.
