Well, you are taking the banners thing a little too far. I mean, all those thing could be hard to find, or not, but if you need them, you better learn to find them (although the user control panel is hidden well
). But the magazine is something we want to even the casual visitor to know. Because if the magazine is only read by the same people that writes it (or by the people who read the articles on the AT forum) then why bother? We could post whatever we want in the forums and it would be the same. The magazine was meant, AFAIK, to be read by anybody, and having it in a place that the casual visitor would not see it seems to defeat that purpose...
And if you don't like banners, fine. But then propose an alternative. Or, at least, don't mock what others say. You could have said that without the mockery.
