I have the same problem. After following the set up instructions I still get a Z:\ prompt instead of a C:\ prompt when I open DOSBox-0.63 from the programme start group. Have you tried doing what Nikson suggested? Start DOSBox and type C:. If the command line changes to C:\, you're fine.
