and what's a user going to know if there's written "abandonia"..?=P that there's a lot of old games? or that this place is abandoned? there's really a lot of books and lectures about design. and believe me, if a website logo is memorable it doesn't have to be "readable". if a user knows that this mark belongs to this place that's what matters. and it's not like it were completely unreadable btw ...
