I got around to doing one of the mid-sized cities. Here is Trade Town. You can find two mercenaries in this city: Twoedge Deadspeaker (the best magic user in the game) and Gunwald Gunwaldson, who is located in the Jacob's Ladder.
Cilla Seamstress will make Black Tabards for you, so when you visit Hajak later in the game, you won't have to kill Svien McDoogal.
