They did make valid points about you searching the forums before posting. However, they were not aware of the fact that the search function didn't work for you.
As I said, if you registered on the forum (which was not intended anyone should be able to do) then that can possibly explain a few things. If this can be sorted out, I'm sure you will be experiencing fewer problems.
