The review is blasphemous. Blasphemous, I say! It deserves at least a 3, or a low 4.

That said, I loved this game and its predecessor.
I had the Genesis version of Wrestlemania Arcade, and it was great. Simple, to the point, and no load times. My brother and I played it for days on end.
Then we got In Your House for the Playstation, and were, at first, rather disappointed. First off, the load times were a killer, though this isn't true for the PC version, but at the time it was a big put off. And then add to that the extraneously flashy graphics. Why on earth were wrestlers shooting fireballs out of their hands? So we didn't play this one as much.

But one day, inspired by pure boredom, I decided I'd try to figure out every move for each wrestler. I didn't have a FAQ or move list, so most of it was guesswork. It took a few days and a whole lot of playing to finish that, but by the time I was done I had gained a new appreciation for the game. Sure, the style and graphics are a little screwy, but hidden underneath all of that is an excellent fighting game.
If you're looking for a decent wrestling game you're not gonna find it here. But if you want a good all-out brawl, with a wide assortment of attacks and moves, you might just like this game.

It should be noted that In Your House only fully reaches its potential when taken as a multiplayer game. Playing against the CPU can get rather tedious real fast.
