), I really don't see any influence from EU in here. Might help that my island has a somewhat independent economic system from mainland, and the money we receive from EU is basically to compensate the produced goods (bananas, grapes, wine, pottery) we aren't allowed to sell (in excess) in order not to screw the european economy. Then again, mainland gets a bit of that money in regional taxes so we end up losing some. I saw Independence or death. (Both are better than being portuguese I guess).
