I've played a few games of NetKeen and it's actually quite fun. High ping causes some problems, though. I played with some Australians who had crappy internet connection. My ping was about 400 and the game lagged really badly (about 200 seems to be the limit for a playable game).
BTW, I use
YANG to play NetKeen and some other DOS games online. YANG supports now any DOS game.
