To my knowledge Ocean Software didn't go bankrupt, it was simply acquired by Infogrames.

No Respect was released in 1997, and Ocean Software got acquired by Infogrames in 1996 [link]http://www.cbronline.com/news/french_infotainment_leader_infogrames_to_acquire_o cean[/link]. Appeal SA was partially owned by Infogrames since its foundation in 1995. I presume that No Respect was published under Ocean's name only because it hasn't yet been changed to Infogrames UK. But it was Infogrames behind the publishing from the start. The game was just a test run for the technology Appeal was going to use in their flagship title, Outcast, so it didn't have much to offer and had a rather limited release.
