The mechanic - she is funny. also for example and the teasing of the companion and the tension between them and the captain. not to mention the Baldwin's character. true redneck cowboy 
did you watch it alone? because people usually tend only to laugh when they are in group or crowd. sicne i watch it with my bro it's funny for me.
