That's right, in my very own calculus class a new mathematical construction similar to a Moebius strip was created. It is called a Nesbit Ring after its creator. It can be constructed by getting a strip of paper, tearing it down the middle lengthways for about halfway down the strip, and then gluing one of the strands to the other to form a loop. This strip/ring combo will then have, like a Moebius strip, one side and one edge, but it will also have one vertex.
Can you tell we were bored in calculus?
