I don't understand the question...
Windows 9x? First time I ever hear that term.
And if that's what I think, then I don't see the point. Windows 95 was really a waste of about anything I can think of, while Windows 98 SE was about the best Windows OS I tryied so far. Only the version of WinXP I am using right now can be as close, but somehow I prefer Win98 even tough it crashed everyday.
Compatibility and more intuitive system (less centered on newbies and getting in the way to prevent you from doing a stupid mistake unless you tweak a hundred options and a billion other which can only be changed by editing some files
) really do the difference.
