Thank you all for the suggestions :thumbs: I managed to get hold of Gothic from a local game rentals. I think I'd settle with it for now. I'll keep other suggestions in mind for future reference. Fable is also available in that local game rentals, but they only have one copy and currently it is being rented.

No it has not been suggested, but my laptop won't be able to handle it either
The same with Fallout 3. I am saving to buy a new gaming laptop next year.

I remember trying the demo several years ago. Not exactly Over the Shoulder view if I recall correctly. More like Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption view, but I can be mistaken because I do not remember much from the demo.
