Sam & Max back in development:
September 15, 2005 - Telltale Games announced last night it had purchased the rights to Sam and Max from LucasArts only days ago and are beginning development on it, according to Adventuregamers.com. The game will be an all-new version, not the one cancelled by LucasArts last year, and Steve Purcell, now working at Pixar, is said to be working as closely as he can with the project. The Telltale team has extensive experience at LucasArts, and Purcell chose them to head up the project. The game will be released episodically, as with their recently-released game based on the cult favorite Bone comic books.
