as i read directX is the one causing problems in running al lprogrames that use it. Or at least the ones that uise it extensivelly.
Wine had managed ot use it partially and there are efforts to increase it. But probably we won't get to run some newer games anytimes soon on either of them.
Apperantly Wine installs and runs Diablo 2 LoD with no problems at all.
EDIT: So i did some checking and found out i can actually get a notebook for that price. OK so processor is much weaker and what bothers me the most is the ram. it has only 512MB and graphics card can take up to 256 from it. will this kind of computer run Linux fluently? i know that for Wine it will proove quite underpowered with 1.6 Cleron processor.
