as we noticed that many of you are eager to provide new smilies
for this forum, we're happy to give you an opportunity to do so...
WELCOME TO THE ABANDONIA SMILIES CONTEST!
this contest will be running for three weeks, so please make sure that
your contributions are finished by 18th april 2005 (21:00 CET).
these are the rules:
[1] the smilies have to be created originally by yourselves.
[2] each contestant can present up to 3 smilies.
[3] the pixel size of a smiley should not exceed 60x60 pixel.
[4] the file size of a smiley should not exceed 10 kb.
[5] the smilies mustn't be offensive in any way.
[6] you can create animated or static smilies, and try using transparent backgrounds
[7] avoid similarities to already existing smilies (the more individual, the better).
(check out the present smilies list for a technical/thematic overview)
post your finished works into this thread. after the contest deadline is over,
we will put up a poll where all of you can vote for your favourite submissions.
finally, the admins will decide about which of the nominated submissions
will be added to the forum.
