Last Scenario: Throws a ton of surprises at you and generally rocks. For a game created by a one-man-operation, the end result is pretty darn amazing. And the card-minigame actually makes sense!
Chrono Trigger: Time-traveling, ancient secrets, and over a dozen unique endings. I can't really do justice with a review - you'll just have to play it yourself. Suffice it to say that you get to love the characters enough that you can get teary-eyed when the main character makes the ultimate sacrifice to save the group, and at the end when everyone returns to their own time.
(although it's not for PC, the SNES and all its games are kind of abandonware by now)
Albion: Epic, breathtaking, and intriguing. That's all I can think to say.
edit: Recommend that you forgo the Battle for Wesnoth until a certain text-displaying bug is confirmed as fixed, or at least don't install version 1.6.3. I don't know what the heck the game devs broke but they really broke it!
