I figured this list, originally in TH's Mega Updates thread, should be a bit easier to find - I had to search for it this afternoon. Any chance of a sticky?

Please note that this may not be up-to-date at any given time, but hopefully it'll reduce the number of requests for protected games.

Obviously we need to make sure that the new games are not ESA Protected.

How do we do this, I hear you ask... well, it's really simple really. The first thing you should do is to look up information on the game you want to supply using MobyGames or any other info-site. Then look really closely at the companies involved in the game. If any of the following names pop up, the game is ESA Protected, and you don't have to start reviewing it.

* Activision, Inc
* Atari

* # GT Interactive
* # Hasbro Interactive
* # Spectrum Holobyte
* # MicroProse
* # Infogrames Entertainment
* Buena Vista Games
* Capcom
* Crave Entertainment
* Eidos Interactive
* Electronic Arts

* # Bullfrog
* # EA Sports
* # EA Sports BIG
* # EA Store
* # Maxis
* # Origin
* # Westwood Studios
* Her Interactive
* id Software
* Konami Digital Entertainment
* LucasArts

* # LucasFilm
* Microsoft Corporation
* Midway Games, Inc
* Namco Hometek, Inc
* Nintendo
* NovaLogic, Inc
* SEGA
* Sony Computer Entertainment
* Square Enix, Inc
* Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc
* THQ, Inc
* Ubisoft Entertainment
* Vivendi Universal Games

* # Blizzard Entertainment
* # Coktel
* # Fox Interactive
* # Interplay
* # inXile Entertainment
* # Knowledge Adventure
* # Majesco
* # Massive Entertainment
* # Mythic Entertainment
* # Sierra Entertainment
* Warner Bros. Interactive Entertaiment, Inc
* Wild Tangent

If the game is clear of these producers, we will accept it. Remember to give a very good description of who made the game, and who published it. Again... use either MobyGames or any other info-site to help you out.

Thanks in advance, people.
