Sentinels of Ceth is a simple arcade shooter from 1997. As the titular Sentinel, you protect the precious gems in the center of the screen from waves of enemies who are trying to steal them. You have infinite lives, but take time to respawn if you are destroyed, leaving the gems vulnerable for a short time. If all gems are stolen, the game ends. Between waves, you can use points earned from shooting down enemies and keeping the gems safe to buy upgrades and weapons to help in the fight. As the game goes on, more and tougher enemies will spawn in each wave, and the action quickly becomes more frantic. Definitely a fun little time-waster
