Where can I check the authorizations?
Right-click the folder and select sharing and security and then click on the sharing tab. When you turn on sharing for a folder you can set the permissions for users who access the folder over the network by clicking the permissions button. Selecting Everyone and giving them full control authority will basically give unrestricted access to your entire workgroup. If you are on an unsecured wireless network be careful.

This assumes that your workgroup is set up correctly and you have file sharing turned on for each computer. Also assumes you are using NTFS. Fat32 and earlier file systems work differently regarding security but may be the same regarding network access (I can't remember at the moment).

If you have a domain and domain controller set up on your network things are entirely different. You don't do you?
