Game loads fine... plays fine. But as soon as i Hit the ESC icon
after talking to anybody it just freezes. First time was in the ironworks

Incorrect sound settings or sound drivers is probably the #1 issue when it comes to playing these classic DOS games. In 1995-1997 I worked tech support and game testing for a large gaming company in Austin. The first thing we would do is attempt the no sound option in the game to see if the problem goes away.

If you ever have lockup issues in games run setup and try no sound.

BTW - great site! I've found many classics that I've added back to my library because many of my old floppies are no longer good.
