Hey everyone,
I just had a kick of nostalgic memories (while reading our local Game Wizzard's, MrFlibble's
thread about Jordan Mechner) from the time I read Masters of Doom by David Kushner, which is a biographic novel about id Software - John Carmack, John Romero, Adrian Carmack, Tom Hall, Jay Wilbur, and many others - and it was among my inspirations to be a programmer... Well, why I didn't really became a software engineer is another story, but this one is much more interesting. I had to contact Romero (surprisingly, anyone can) himself for a
link to the photos from the Shreveport Lakehouse era he had on his site which used to be found at rome.ro!

If by any chance you ever wondered how they made Commander Keen, Wolfenstein, or Doom, here's a place where you can see everything.
Have fun, folks!
