Fury of the Furries is an excellent game and was my favorite back in the Amiga500 days. Intuitive game-play, good music and sound effects, well designed levels that challenge both the player's brain and dexterity. I really enjoyed it although I remember been stuck at the forest "falling leaf" level then at pyramid "walking above acid" level. Back then, there was no internet to get hints.
I recently installed the DOS version and rediscovered the fun of this game. I also noticed it contains a lot of Easter eggs and cross-references like Star Wars, Shakespeare, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Rover from The Prisoner, Little Red Riding Hood, The Smurfs, Cool Spot...
The small animations of idle tiny bring a funny plus to this well made game. Did anyone discover the following: Having the red tiny idle for a while near a movable brick will trigger an animation event: he’ll lean against the brick then the brick will slide a few pixels away and the tiny will fall on the ground. So, keep your eyes open for such gems while playing and enjoy them!
