It will be good for most DOS games too, I think. Some older ones might require slowdowns, but that's what Mo'Slo is for.
And yes, you can underclock your CPU, either from BIOS (if your FSB/multiplier settings are BIOS-controlled) or by changing the jumper setup (if they are controlled by jumpers). Note that it is better to decrease the multiplier than the FSB speed - fast FSB gives better overall performance.
