try setting core to full and increasing cycles....

try setting core to full and increasing cycles. sometimes cores make strange things

how did it "help a bit"? (you mean it freezes...

how did it "help a bit"? (you mean it freezes less frequently? or you never run it with sound when it freezed) then, what are your core and cycles settings?

i remember that in the windows or system directory, there is a .PIF file somewhere called "ms-dos games with support of EMS and XMS memory.pif" or something like that.

when you edit it (properties),...

if you are not able to make the game work in windows 98, why won't you just use dosbox
