hello there, recently a friend of mine discoverd your website tip top it being, it had the long lost personal favourite of Xcoma

however downloading and playing i have been unable to save my games. not wishing to play continuously play for the weeks required to complete it, solidly i was hoping that someone could possibly help me with my dilemma.

it says that its saved however when i come to load up it does not register it, its as if i never saved in the first place

Maybe you haven't created the dirs for savegames.
check your xcom folder for these subfolders:
game_1
game_2
game_3
game_4
game_5
game_6
game_7
game_8
game_9
game_10

If they don't exist create them.

I remember ahving this problem once.

Also check if the folders as well as the files inside are flaged as read only, and if yes unflag them. Sometime, archivers have the really bad habit of making all the files in an archive as read only and this is a common problem for saving.
