Well, with the new DOSBox out the BIG RED ADVENTURE finally plays OK (although the intro has some choppy sound), but I just realized that you can not SAVE!!!

Nope, it isn't at Abandonia... but it could be :D - acording to Tom Henrik's "oldwarez list" it is abandoned!

Does it not have anything to do with the target locations and the emulation etc.?
We're shooting blind here....

One thing: does it give an error or does it 'save' and not load afterwards?

HOTU says it's a CD rip, and as far as I know you can't just put files in a cd... so I think the real problem is the target location here.

Well, according to some site the game is protected by copyright laws... better not make hasty decisions.

Guys, if it were that simply (like the destination) I'd figure it out myself.

The game's not on Abandonia yet, because it hasn't been reviewed yet and it hasn't been reviewed yet, because I can't save it (or find the time to play it through without saving).

Whey I try to save simply nothing hapens. It acts like it's saved, but it gives no confirmation, and after that there's simply no save file.

Oh and MC, can you please remove that link (I know it's not distributing warez, but please, do it for me... PLEASE http://www.abandonia.com/~sebatianos/pleeeaaasse.gif).

EDIT: Never mind. I've been so stupid. Haven't noticed the folder was marked as read only :wall:

Oi, I'm really having problems with this game...

In the middle of part two the game simply freezes!

It happens when you come to the woods.
If you come there too soon, everything is OK, but if you get there when you should (to continue with the game) it just freezes and gives no explenation whatsoever!

I've made a savegame just before that point (so if anyone want's to have a crack at it)...

Sure upload to abandonia and give me the link

Try another way: sliding over ice?

This one is working for me, the going through the wood freezes.
