I just downloaded Xatax and i tried to open it and the little boxy thing came up for about half a second then disappeared. theres 4 open files: MANUAL, MAIN, XATAX and RTM, and they all do the smae thing. plz help.

Have you extracted the files?

Right-click on it, and select Extract All'

did you fuly download it, perhaps the DL is corrupt?

Thanx for the help youse guys, but it didnt werk sory. i had actually alredy extracted the files and i did it again but no diffrence. :angry: imnot axactly sure if it all downloaded properly though. it would help if maybe abandonia would mention the files that should be included. i rekon that would be a good idea. if anyone else out there is having this problem it would b kool if u mentioned it so i dont feel out on a limb here... :ok:

have you considered a DL manager like get-right?

Are you actually trying to run the game in DOSBox, or are you trying to run it by double-clicking on a file? If it's the latter, that would be why the little boxy thing keeps closing. According to the little compatibility icons, the game can't be run through Windows, but it should work fine in DOSBox.
