A few good games...
Sacrifice Homeworld Half-Life Clive Barker's Undying Escape From Monkey Island Unreal Tournament Unreal Unreal Tournament 2003 (It might, I'm not absolutly sure) Deus Ex Warlords Battlecry Warlords Battlecry 2 Dominions Dominions 2 Thief Thief 2 Everquest Anarchy Online Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II Age Of Empires II Starwars Galactic Battlegrounds Jedi Knight: Outcast Alien VS. Predator Diablo II Baldur's Gate 2 Baldur's Gate Rainbow Six Planescape Torment Neverwinter Nights (Not absolutly sure) Warcraft III (If on low settings) Battlezone Battlezone II Septerra Core And a bunch more... |
what kind of games are you interrested in, strategy, FPS, simulation? If you like Medieval: Total War (as I do) then you will also like Homeworld which should run on your computer (it will have problems with larger number of ships).
|
Actually, Homeworld would run absolutly fine on that PC, even with large numbers of ships, my really old comp with 64 meg Ram, 455 MHZ, and something like 16 Meg video card ran it well at all times on above moderate settings.
But I agree, you should get Homeworld. |

The GF2MX was likely the problem but Bradley himself says he has a 32MB graphics cards which will not be much better then a GF2MX. |
The original Homeworld did have problems with certain graphic cards related to the framerate.
But I think it would work fine on his PC as long as he doesn't do what you did. :D |
NWN wouldn't run, and neither would UT2003 or Warcraft 3. Thief 2, only on low settings. And Sacrifice, if I remember correctly, the box said the minimum spec is 400MHz, which means it's probably not gonna run under 550MHz.
|
Sacrifice would work.
That game over-exaggerates it's requirements, as long as it's on low settings it'll work fine. |
