Did you ever password protect something and the forgot the password (or simply forgot a password and couldn't log in somwhere)?
|
Fortunatelly, I haven't. To protect from this I use the same password everywhere
|
Now that's a problem for me... somwhere I am and somwhere I'm not allowed to use <space> in the password... Also some passwords recognise special characters and others don't...
Basically I can't use the same password everywhere! |
an advice: Password Safe, it's free and you will never ever have to remember more than one pass in the future.
|
Sort of. I once forgot the four figure PIN code for my mobile. Then I replaced it with a seven figure code and I've never forgotten it since.
|
I have a couple of passwords, but I never forget them.
The smallest is 15 characters. |
I envy people with big passwords, I just can't be bothered to sit there typing out (or thinking up) long passes.
|
its gotta be done tho. jsut think of some phrase an invert it an screw around with a bit
eg i think you smell 1ktTi7nk9oUy5S3ml1l |

But I used some passwords and haven't really needed them for a few years. When I returned to those sites I still had an account (they wouldn't dare delete me) but I simply forgot the password :wall: BTW: My method is this Username: Something Password: Something I easily associate with the username Example: Username: Leech Password: PoppinG BlooD (comes from blood sucker; sucker = lo-ly-pop; now just twist them a little and here you go) Don't bother guessing though, because most people wouldn't even know what most of my usernames mean anyway :sneaky: |

I have a really bad memory, so i use less password that's possible! For example i have no PINs for my mobiles... To remember my bancomat code i use some gestures... and i look like a :tease: when i use it... |
