This game is similar to a regular Nintendo game that I have called Shingen the Ruler.

I have played that one too...though I do like KOEI's interface a bit better.

I much prefer the original over this one. The castle seiges are a nice addition especially since each one is unique. But IMHO it's too easy to just recruit rifle generals and dominate the AI. I generally ended up using an army of 6 rifles, 2 cav and 2 infantry. Use the cav to outflank, infantry for ambushes and going over the walls during a seige and the rifles for smashing everything.

I cannot play the game, it says that I need a disk in my drive can this be fixed or something? Thank you

Are you running it directly in Windows? If so, use DOSBox instead. Running from Windows is the only time that I know of, that you will get asked to put a disk in your drive.

For me the link comes up in not English. Is the game itself in English?

The game is in English, yeah. Just look at the screens ;)
