i want to install Crusader No Regret game on my windows xp platform.
i already install dosbox and then tried to install crusader but it shows some error and close the dosbox environment. could u help me in this metter. i really love to play this game. i don't know wheather sound card is available on my computer or not. it is Pentium III, with 190 RAM, i think sound card is inbulit on the motherboard. please help me to run the game. i will very much thankful of u guys.

Well, do you have minijack sockets on the back of your machine? If you do, you have a built-in soundcard.

What exactly does the error message say?

Maybe try changing the sound emulation settings in Dosbox.conf to Sb1. This might help a bit.

As far as i know there's no way to run both Crusaders under Xp or under Dosbox. Default Windows's sound settings are :
Card type: Sound blaster 2.0
I/O Port 220
DMA 1
IRQ 5
I/O port for midi cards 330 .

I can run them both in DOSBox with default settings and a few extra cycles no problem.

Strange... I had read many threads with discussions about it , include dosbox forums and as i understand exists only one way to run it at normal speed - from pure dos. Could you explain me please how did you make it ? My comp : Cel 1.7/ 256 Mb RAM / Win Xp sp1 .

wait, now that I think about it there may have been some issues with speed inconsistency (though not as bad as I have with tyrian, which i find far more annoying grrr.)
