Forgotten Password on Dual boot Laptop
My office laptop is configured to boot Windows 10 volume 3 and volume 5 versions. I was working on Volume 5 and I have forgotten the laptop password. Now I cannot access the laptop. How can I fix this issue/

Well, there is no simple way to do that. But you can try to find some hack tools (I am not sure they are exists for Windows 10 though).

I'm thinking of formatting it..But, no way to get data

Is the drive encrypted?
If not, then you can easily get the data of the disk with a Linux live USB or DVD (of course your laptop also needs to support booting from one of those). Another option would be to take the drive off the laptop and plug it in a desktop PC as an additional drive or use a SATA-to-USB adapter. |
After what the Grand Wizzzzzzard said above, I have some additional advices :):
01) You can recover the data using Acronis True Image (during boot) and select the Folders you want to save or recover to another Hard Drive / Pen Drive / etc.; 02) Convert Internal HDD to External using a HDD Case if it is not encrypted (after my experience with Windows XP Professional :XP: :rocket:, I never encrypted Drives since then  :headslap: :picard:); 03) Always use Password Manager (example: KeePass Password Safe for Android / PC) to avoid future problems in case of forgetting Passwords ; 05) If possible, make periodic Backups in the Cloud using Services like Dropbox or Google Drive (although they are expensive... $$$$$). I found some links, but I do not know if that helps in your case: https://www.top-password.com/knowled...-password.html https://community.spiceworks.com/top...ord-reset-tool |
