Lords of Midnight

Waaaaay back in ī84 and ī85 two great games were done for ZX Spectrum (I think they were ported later to C64 and Amiga, not sure). I remember playing for hours in my ZX Spectrum (my second computer after a ZX 81 and before an Amiga 500, so Iīm realizing Iīm enough old for all of ya! )
For those of you who doesnīt know this 2 titles: not adventure games, not RPG, not war games. Itīs a mix of all of them. Itīs the classic "you, your armies and your party are in chargue of saving the middle earth world against the dark forces", but with some exceptional elements for the 80īs. Amazing AI and an incredible plot (a novel was part of each packaged game!! :w00t:
Lords of Midnight was a big hit in those days, the same for Doomdarkīs Revenge (best of two). The graphics are static and quite simple (itīs a Spectrum conversion) but the game play is superb. A third part was in the plans and was called The Citadel, a 1995 game in 3D and more advanced, but the game is so bad made and designed that is not worth a post here, altough is abandon  along with some others 3D projects made by fans (not realized yet)

Now my question is: I have this two abandon complete versions for PC. May I post LOM and DR with manuals and novels? How do I post and where? The files are small, donīt worry on that side. So what you say?

send a PM to Kosta and see what he says - he's much more likely to put them up if you supply reviews and screenshots as well as the games.

As this game is freeware, perhaps you should check out Abandonia Reloaded? And please stop creating new threads if a thread for the game already exists.

There's a port of the original ZX Spectrum version that runs in a DOS window. Can we host that too?:D http://www.mobygames.com/game/zx-spe...t_/screenshots
