Ok, since my topic has been closed, a new one (I still love to receive your nice comments ).
So, another picture drawn in the past few days after I returned home. I called him Winterwolf, mainly because he looks kind of "white":

*Drool* How did you make that? I mean... Who did you bribe up there to get those skillz? beautiful!

Daddy; can I get one of those?

Hmm, should I tell her I closed a pact with the devil? :bleh:
Just kidding. I always wanted to draw a picture of a wolf or a tiger that would show the pure power. Mainly my inspirations were the pictures of Ernest Seton Thompson, since I read his stories when I was young.

You are evil man, FF. :D

We should call you Evil Genous, and DD might be a mini-me. LOL LOL LOL

Drawing is really great!

Good work m8!

It's a very nice drawing Freddy, but I must say it looks very harmless to me, not too ferocious. But I guess looks can be decieving.

It looks rather wise than ferocious...

I really like the ears.

No, not ferocious indeed. Instead very close to the nature, by the looks on it. "Wild deep inside", if I may say so.

hi freddy! good to have you back again, at least for a while i hope!

after tom has closed your previous thread and i was not sure if and when we
could expect you back, so i kept it closed.

but since you seem to have helped yourself with this new one, i guess it's ok ;)
(as long as it is not used for any vague speculations like the first one!)

the wolf sketch is very beautiful! cool that you've used a blue pen, it emphasizes
the winter aspect you included in its title! perfect proportions, perfect look!
EDIT:
(did you portray this or has it been drawn "from the mind"?)

FreeFreddy 08-04-2005 02:37 PM

Weelll...
I saw a real wolf around 5-6 years ago often, for some time. It was a usual wolf, though. So I used the details of him that I still could remember, which include the ears and the tip of the nose. The rest is imagination + comparing the pic with some works of Seton Thompson for it to be looking more correctly. ;)
