Ok, reviving old thread bad, I know, but I had to post this here.

Jeff Olson, the creator of Alphaman saw my video and had this to say:

My son showed me this video, and I am amazed. I wrote Alphaman as stress relief while working on my PhD. The dated humor makes me cringe at times, but I still have fond memories of writing the game.

I see so many things I should have done better for the user interface. It's clear from the video that the difference between resting and sleeping isn't obvious, and I now wish I had made the message "You are very tired. Press '.' to rest."

It's just as exciting as the time when the creator of Azrael's Tear gave me the proposal and design docs for AT and permission to remake the game.
