Can't install Vigilance
 

A week or so ago I downloaded the third person shooter Vigilance, as an ISO.
But I am unable to install the game.
When I get the autorun to pop up, I click on the install button and nothing happens, the autorun doesn't even shut down.

Don't use the autorun.
Explore CD contents and find the executables.
Right-click, Properties, Compatibility, set to Windows 95.
After doing that, try running the installer (manually, not through the autorun menu).

That game was already troublesome under XP ......
In Vista: run in VPC2007+W98(SE).

Just saying.

But here's an even weirder thing, I can't find the installer, its like if it did not exist on it.

Seems something really went wrong, BTW, it's a multi mode CD, with multiple tracks. Did you by any chance converted it to an ISO? Won't work with ISO.

Meant: MIXED mode CD...... :doh:

It was an ISO when I downloaded it.

Valid formats are:
BIN/CUE
NRG
CloneCD
MDF/MDS
....and some others.
But: not ISO.
