How to make screenshots bigger?

Is there a way to make it so that DOSBOX takes screenshots in 640x400 by default? 320x200 is a bit small.
Thanks.

by which dosraider meant to say, what you see in dosbox is not the original size, it's doubled (or when you play fullscreen stretched to the whole screen)

so all you need to do is open any editor like irfan view, or even microsoft paint and increase the picture size to 200%

What dosraider meant was that irfanview can capture the window as it is, you select "foreground window" -(or "forground window- client area" if you don't want the dosbox borders-menu bar)-, in the capture options and you get what you see on the screen, dosbox may be stretched to 1024x768 (just an example) and your screenie will be 1024x768.
D'oh.

320x200 is the natural size - as in, that's what the screen was like before DOSBox upscaled it with whatever scaler you've selected and applied aspect correction.
You will need to edit them to get any other size (640x400 etc).
Further, you will have to resize the screens to 640x480 for the resulting image to have the correct aspect ratio.

If You do not mind:

I am using monitor with 1600 x 1200.
I have WinMe, XP Pro and Win 7 Ultimate.
Well, I make by Dosbox screenshots in Ultima 8,
using Win 7 Ultimate.
Then, I have to correct my image to 640x640.
Then, I have to resize the screens to 640x480 for the resulting image to have the correct aspect ratio.

Is this way correct, pane?

Merci

No. :wall:
Doing it that way will fuck up the screenshot BADLY.

FIRST, set the image mode to 32-bit color (that's sometimes referred to as RGB or True Color)

IF the image is 320x240, resize the image to 640x480 with no interpolation.

ELSE
IF the image is 320x200, resize it to 640x400 with no interpolation.
THEN resize the image to 640x480 with linear interpolation.

This doesn't really belong in troubleshooting... But I'm not really certain where to send it. Any suggestions?
